Every spring, AKL proudly opens its doors to law students from all academic years as part of the “Lawyers at Work” initiative — an inspiring event organized by ELSA Athens.
Our Partners, Associates, and Trainees step away from their daily work to connect with students, offering insights into life at a law firm. Together, we explore the challenges and rewards of the legal profession, discuss current trends, and help illuminate the path forward for aspiring lawyers.
This year’s visit began with a warm welcome and a presentation from our Partners, who shared the history of AKL — a firm with roots dating back to 1891 — and highlighted the qualities we value in future junior associates.
Representatives from our Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, and Corporate departments provided overviews of their practice areas, giving students a clear understanding of each field.
In line with our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, we were also honored to host Choose Life, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about bone marrow donation. Their coordinator emphasized both the importance and simplicity of becoming a donor — a message that resonated strongly, with many students volunteering to provide a sample on the spot.
