Established in 1891 by Constantine Alexiou, grandfather of the firm’s current Managing Partner, Alexiou & Kosmopoulos is one of the oldest and most prestigious law offices in Athens, Greece.

In 1931, after forty fruitful years of practice in civil and commercial law, the founder handed over his office to his son Spyros, father of Dr. Constantine Alexiou, who, in turn, joined the firm in 1970.

In 2001, the successful family office was transformed into a professional legal partnership, with partner Helen Alexiou representing the fourth generation of attorneys.

In 2007 the firm expanded following the merger with the practices of two additional seasoned partners. The firm has since almost doubled in size and now operates out of its new state-of-the-art Athens offices.
